Legal Notice
and Privacy Policy
In compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR), Hand Picked Spain guarantees the utmost respect and confidentiality regarding our clients' data.
I. Data Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Hand Picked Spain, reachable at: hola@handpickedspain.es
II. Purpose of Processing
The personal data collected is used to manage the commercial relationship, to provide advisory services in residency, tax, real estate and adaptation, and to send communications related to our services.
III. Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the advisory services contract, as well as the user's express consent where applicable (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.a GDPR).
IV. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
As part of the coordination of your case, certain data may be shared with lawyers, tax advisors, notaries, banking institutions and public administrations strictly necessary for the handling of your residency, tax structure or real estate transaction, always with your consent and under appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
V. Your Rights
You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection regarding your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact: hola@handpickedspain.es
VI. Cookie Policy
This website uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for the platform to function. No third-party tracking, advertising or analytics cookies are used without the user's prior consent.
VII. Nature of the Service and Limitation of Liability
Hand Picked Spain acts as curator and coordinator of a process carried out by a network of externally licensed specialists — lawyers, tax advisors, real estate agents, notaries — selected and supervised with the same rigor we apply to every property or investment opportunity we curate. Hand Picked Spain is not a visa-issuing authority, does not sign tax structures, and is not a contracting party in any real estate transaction.
The granting of a visa or residency permit, the outcome of a tax structure, and the performance of any investment depend on the competent authority, applicable regulations, and each client's individual circumstances, and are never guaranteed by Hand Picked Spain. Any preliminary assessment offered during an advisory session is indicative in nature and subject to confirmation by the licensed specialist formally assigned to your case, whose name and credentials will be introduced to you at the start of the engagement.
In the event of any refusal, delay, or adverse outcome, Hand Picked Spain will communicate the facts transparently, referring the technical explanation to the specialist responsible.
VIII. Payment Terms and Right of Withdrawal
The Spain Discovery, Spain Relocation Experience and Spain Investor Advisory packages, as well as our home-search and relocation services, are contracted under a specific service agreement setting out the scope, fee and payment schedule applicable, which is signed or confirmed in writing before any service begins. When the client qualifies as a consumer and the agreement is concluded at a distance or off-premises, the client has fourteen (14) calendar days from signature to withdraw from the agreement without penalty, in accordance with Article 102 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. The full payment, refund and withdrawal terms applicable to each case are set out in the signed service agreement.
IX. Online Dispute Resolution and Consumer Arbitration
In accordance with Article 21.4 of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes, Hand Picked Spain states that it is [NOT / IS] adhered to any consumer arbitration board or other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body [, specifically: [NAME OF THE CONSUMER ARBITRATION BOARD OR ADR ENTITY, IF APPLICABLE]]. When the client qualifies as a consumer and the contract was concluded online, the client may also refer any dispute to the European Union's Online Dispute Resolution platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, without prejudice to the right to bring proceedings before the ordinary courts referred to above.
